As a mid-point Boomer I am trying to create a place for baby boomers and gen-xers to learn about a new 
way to retire. I believe that these two generations have the potential to become the most important generations in our countries history. We want to have it all! We want a great career, an even greater retirement, and an opportunity to make a difference in this world. It is not enough for us to just retire to the golf course. (What a minute, I like the golf course!)
Our generations know that while we want to be in control of our time and our living, we also want to find ways to serve our communities and our world. In order to fulfill our life’s purpose, we will need to continue to generate income but in a way that allows us to be in control of our time and our dreams.
What I’m going to talk about here is how we can gain control of our time and money while looking for ways to give back. I want each member of this community to live with purpose and to make this chapter of life the best one!
I want to create a community. I want us to talk. I want us to think in innovative ways. I want us to use our time and energies to care for the world around us.
In order to do this we are going to have to connect. So, if you see your retirement years as a great time to live out your life’s purpose, to enjoy working with other active and productive Boomers and Gen-xers, and to make our society better than we found it, we need to get to talk!
As we expand our numbers and multiply our efforts, there is no telling how big things might become. It really depends on us!
