Monday’s Question – What are you willing to do to change the course of history?

With the death of Steve Jobs this past week, I am reminded of his comment that he wanted his life to “make a dent in the universe.” I think that, in many ways, he did just that. But now that he is gone, who will step up? Who will be the next visionary to make a dent in the universe?

Maybe, it’s time to be you! Maybe instead of just getting by it’s time for us all to look at this world through the visionary eyes that make us unique people and choose to follow our dreams. Maybe, at least in my own “world,” I should step up and look for ways to change the course of history.

What do you think? What are you willing to do to change the course of history?

  1. Steven Jobs was a true leader and visionary. Each of us have this quality in us to succeed. We don’t need to be famous to change the world…we only need to be faithful to our own dreams. Many famous people have learned great things from others who were not in the limelight but left a great legacy in how they lived each day.

Janie – Absolutely!! Making a dent in the universe began for Jobs in the garage of his parents home. His greatness didn’t was born in him way before his fame. Changing the world was his goal when he stood alone “shouting into the wind.” The key as you have said is to create and leave behind a great legacy in our daily living. Thanks for adding to the conversation!
